Fire Department and the Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad and of the Olive Branch Lodge 86, Daughters of the Eastern Star, where she had held most offices and was secretary at the time of her death. She was also a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church for 25 years.
Surviving are her husband Albert J. Slaughter of Leesburg, one sister and three brothers of Brunswick, Md.
Burial was in Brownsville Cemetery, Brownsville, Md., with Dr. M. Hawthorne Granger officiating.
