Fire and Rescue Department will meet Monday, August 29, at 7:30 p.m. Any interested persons of the community are invited to attend.

C. N. Aldrich of Rock Mills has volunteered his time and machinery to clear underbrush at the site of the future track at RGHS. Once clearing has been done, the area will be surveyed and bids for clearing and grading the area for the track will be accepted.

was guest speaker at the Amissville Ruritan Club’s August 18 meeting held at the Amissville Baptist Church.

At a special, meeting held Friday at Superintendent Robert Estabrook’s residence following a “get acquainted” cook-out with Rappahannock’s new school teachers, the county School Board agreed to proceed with refining cost estimates oh the proposed combination School Board office and vehicle maintenance shop.
