Emily Durant
; Emily Longstreth Schultz Durant, 84, of The Hill, Culpeper, died August 15 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital after a long illness. : A native of St. Davids, Pa., Mrs. Durant was the daughter of the late George W. Schultz and Emily longstreth Sayen Schultz. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver Durant II of The Hill, Culpeper, a son Alexander Inolse Stull of Culpeper, a step-son Lee T. Stull of Paoli, Pa., two step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Gertrude Lucas of Essex, Conn., and Mrs. Louise Perry Jorss of Bethesda, Md., and one sister Mrs. John Leonard of Wayne, Pa.
A graveside service was conducted August 17 at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, by the Rev. John J. Desaulniers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Ellis Clatterbuck
Ellis William Clatterbuck, 64, of Centreville, formerly of Sperryville, ''died August 15 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Mr. Clatterbuck was bom July 16, 1923, in Sperryville, the son of the late William and Georgie Brown ^Clatterbuck. A World War II vet"eran, he was employed as a carpenter by the Fairfax County Park Authority.
Surviving are his wife Louise Burke Clatterbuck, a son Mark W. Clatterbuck of Fairfax, a daughter Sheila Clatterbuck of Winchester, two sisters, Laura Cook of Stafford and Cora Stallings of Culpeper, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted August 18 at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. John Burke. Burial was in the Sper; ryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Dwyer, Mike Stallings, Charlie Corder, Charles Burke, Paul Vogel, Keith Allen and Raymond Ralls.
