Introduction to papermaking RAAC is presenting a seminar on papermaking, to be taught by Jeanne Drevas and Nina Moore, on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be be a hands-on workshop, covering papermaking from beginning to end. It will also include a history of the craft, how to color and provide special effects. This Artists’ Forum Seminar will be held at Blackwater Homestead. Pre-registration is requested. Wharton family reunion The annual family reunion of the late Henry Taylor Wharton and Lillie M. Cloude Wharton will be held August 29 at tike Rappahannock Park, Washington. All family and friends are invited to come, bring a picnic basket and have lots of fun. "Come one, come all,” said a family spokesperson.
