The Virginia Department of Transportation has 1 opening for Highway Equipment Operator A at the Marshall (1) Headquarters. Applications are available at the Warrenton Highway Residency Office or at the Virginia Employment Commission. Completed applications must be submitted before 5:00 P.M. on August 28, 1987 Duties: Physically demanding work in highway maintenance, road patching, mowing, erecting signs, bridge repair, and other general maintenance duties. Operates light-duty highway equipment, trucks, tractor mowers, rollers, etc. Qualifications: Valid Virginia Operator's license and the ability to operate 3-ton dump truck and other light-duty highway equipment. Ability to perform heavy manual labor. Safety shoes are required in the performance of the above duties. Salary: $12,270 - $16,752 (Grade 4) AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
