Helen Shipe
Helen Virginia Pierce Shipe, 68, of Front Royal, died August 17 at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
Mrs. Shipe was born February 19,1919, in Linden, the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Fox Sealock.
Surviving are her husband James Randolph Shipe, a son Lennie Pierce of Shenandoah Farms, Front Royal, two step-sons, Randolph Shipe Jr. and Ernest Shipe of Front Royal, three step-daughters, Mary Frazier of Front Royal, Doris Williams of Chester Gap and Anne Kuser of Harrisburg, Pa., a sister Mary Lindamood Smoot of Woodstock, and 14 grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted August 19 at the Maddox Funeral Home by the Rev. William Alford. Burial was in the Rockingham Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randolph Shipe Jr., Ernest Shipe, Timmy Williams, Johnny Dean, Bobby Huff and Andy Guest.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
