Ollie Kibler
Mrs. Ollie Kilby Kibler, 84, of Culpeper, died Aug. 24 at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.
A native of Culpeper County, Mrs. Kibler was the widow of Andrew J. Kibler. She was a retired employee of Leggett’s Department Store.
Survivors include four daughters, Geneva K. Fincham of Culpeper, Rosalie K. Boyd of Annandale, Marie K. Painter of Vienna and Joan K. Cascadden of Vienna, a son James G. Kibler of Annandale, three sisters, Rebecca M. Dyer of Burke, Vergie L. Kiblinger of Annandale and Louise Graver of Culpeper, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kibler was predeceased by a son and a daughter, Andrew J. Kibler Jr. and Rena K. Bailey:
She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Scrabble, where her funeral service was conducted Aug. 27 by Rev. John Warner and Rev. John McKay. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Andrew J. Kibler III, James S. Painter, Robert G. Kibler, Michael F. Kibler, Kenneth W. Cascadden, Timothy S. Cascadden and James Otis Gray.
Robert Hudson
Robert Presley Hudson, 78, of Culpeper, died Aug. 28 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
He was bom July 27, 1909, in Rappahannock County, son of the late Clarence and Hattie Brown Hudson.
He was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church and a charter member of Culpeper Country Club, and was very active in the Republican party.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ruby Einbrey Hudson of Culpeper, three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Cassidy of Charlottesville, Mrs. Linda Thornton of Seoul, Korea, and Mrs. Jane Martin of Culpeper, two brothers, James R. Hudson of Culpeper and Joseph Lee Hudson of Arlington, and five grandchildren.
