Viewtown has been reelected to the board of directors of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Prior to the incorporation of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative in 1980, Barron had served oh the board of Northern Piedmont Electric Cooperative for more than 20 years. He held positions of both vice president and treasurer of that organization and has been active on a state level as a director of the Virginia, Maryland and Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives.
Rappahannock County received $5,195.40 as its share of Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control profits for the fourth quarter of the 1981-82 fiscal year. The town of Washington received $219 in fourth quarter ABC profits.
