The money can be used at the school’s discretion, but the sponsors hope it will be used to provide prizes to the local winners. This will give the students instant recognition for their efforts and the winning posters can then be displayed in the school prior to the Nov. 20 state contest deadline. Deadline for applying for the Incentive Awards is Nov. 2.
If a school participates in the School Incentive Award program, the top 10 posters from each grade level will then be sent to Virginia
