“But if a developer is going to put in houses on two acres, two acres and two acres all over a 300-acre tract, he’d better put in public water or sewer or both, or we’ll end up with the groundwater polluted,” Mr. Miller contended. “We just don’t know what’s going on down there!”
The requirement for the utilities might come into play with two-acre subdivisions of more than 10 lots, Mr. McCarthy posed, saying he’ll bring several options for the commissioners to consider at their next work session.
“I’m all in favor of that,” added Mr. Krebser.
Mr. McCarthy will also give the commissioners a revision on the exemption from ordinance standards for family subdivisions.
