Graveside services were conducted Aug. 31 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper by Rev. H. O. Browning. Memorial contributions may be made to the Culpeper Rescue Squad or the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Gladys Anderson Mrs. Gladys C. Anderson, 72, of Warrenton, died Aug. 30 at the Fauquier Hospital. Survivors include her husband James W. Anderson Sr., two daughters, Doris Thorpe of Orlean and Katherine Holsclaw of Warrenton, two sons, James W. Anderson Jr. of Broad Run and Johnny Anderson of Culpeper, her mother Lorelia Hitt of Warsaw, three sisters, Helena Charles of Lignum, Hazel Butler and Peggy Eline, both of Warrenton, and four brothers, Howard Hitt of Pasadena, Md., Richard Hitt of Amissville, Thomas Hitt of Midland and Frank Hitt of Florida.
