The Virginia Forestry Association and Virginia Department of Forestry are sponsoring a “Keep Virginia Green” poster contest for students in kindergarten through 12th grades. Also sponsoring the contest this year is the Council on the Environment.
The contest offers 74 high school cash awards amounting to $1,400 and 387 awards totaling $610 for elementary students. Also available to grades K-8 will be School Incentive Awards if the school holds a local judging of their posters. The amount of these cash awards will be based on
