Hospice seeks
volunteer help
“If you have two or three hours a week to volunteer, Hospice of the Rapidan is looking for you,” a Hospice spokesman said recently.
The Hospice is in desparate need of volunteers to work with terminally ill patients and their families through home-care and bereavement programs.
The Hospice’s fall training sessions will be held at the Orange County Nursing Home on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Oct. 20 and ending Nov. 10. Sessions will last from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Trainers will include registered nurses, social workers, bereavement counselors and hospice volunteers.
