The Rappahannock League

for Environmental Protection will hold its quarterly meeting on Friday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 at the courthouse in Washington. Sewage disposal and solid waste disposal will be addressed by Leo Horvarth and Stanley Asteal, both nationally recognized experts in their fields. The meeting is open to the public. Election of officers of the RLEP will be held following the program.

Aubrey H. Keyser, chairman of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee, announced the decision of the committee to have a fimd-nusing cocktail party and buffet on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Davis in Washington. All interested citizens are invited. There will be a charge of $5 per person.
