Brownie troop 929 girls Amanda Brown, Naomi Smoot, Stacy Payne, Ericka Miller, Fran Overdoff, Melissa Zim and their leader Mrs. Sarah Brown worked Saturday with the trash pick-up on Rt. 659 and Rt. 628 for 2Vz miles. They collected 22 bags of trash. Others who assisted the troop were Kelly Hall, Mrs. Vickie Miller and son Jonathan, Mrs. Shirley Zim and children Scotty, Timmy and Jenny, and Bobby Brown. After the trash pick-up all enjoyed lunch at the Rappahannock Recreation Park.

Mrs. Faye Pullen has returned home after having surgery in Page Memorial Hospital, Luray.

Mrs. Wingfield Sisk of Amissville and Mrs. Kathleen Colbert of Manassas were Wednesday visitors of Mrs. Janie Pullen. Callers Thursday were Ms. Gloria Robinson and Mrs. Dorothy Jackson. On Friday night Mrs. Jane Krebser of Huntly, Bill Pullen and son Eddie visited in the Pullen home.

Mrs. Thomas Eastham, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Nelson Lane and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax attended the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution at Continental Congress in Washington, D.C., Monday through Thursday.
