The last day for illegal aliens to apply for amnesty remains May 4, 1988, according to the Virginia Department of Social Services.
“We want to emphasize this fact because much confusion has surrounded the publication of the deadline date,” Social Service Larry D. Jackson says.
Earlier nationwide reports had implied that this deadline was being extended, but the deadline remains May 4 with a 60-day period to supply supplemental documentation.
