The Rappahannock Lions Club, assisted by the Varsity Club of Rappahannock County High School, will sponsor a benefit auction on Saturday, May 14, starting at 10 a.m., at the Washington VFD building in Washington.
Total net proceeds will be applied to the purchase and installation of a new scoreboard for the new gymnasium at Rappahannock County High School.
Donations of usable and saleable items are needed, but no clothing and/or food items. Cash contributions are acceptable, and all donations will be appreciated, a Lions spokesman said. All contributions are tax deductible.
