Chili Powder 6 oz. dried chiles (mild, hot or combinations) 2 Tbsp. ground cumin 2 tsp. ground paprika 4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. garlic salt 2 tsp. oregano 2 tsp. onion salt 2 tsp. fresh diced cilantro Cut off stems of chiles with a knife. Blend all ingredients with chiles in a blender or food processor until powdery. Makes 2/3 cup of a zesty chili powder. Store in an airtight glass jar. Tortillas are bread to the Mexicans. They are made from corn or flour and may be purchased at a supermarket or made at home.
