Demetrice Jordan, daughter

of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Jordan of Flint Hill, has recently been promoted to manager trainee in appliances in McBrides store in Washington, D.C. She has been employed there for three years a a sales clerk in toys. She is a graduate of Criser School in Front Royal and is a member of the Carver Alumni Association.

The Woodville Home Demonstration Club will meet at the home of Mrs. W. B. Johnson on Tuesday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. The program on scarves and accessories will be given by Miss Rhonda Morris. Members were asked to remember the cakes for District VIII on May 2.
