The last night in London was a* double treat for me. What I had; planned was to see the Royal Ballet,! but when I arrived at the Opera! House, I found I had tickets for Ver-I di’s Opera “The Masked Ball.” The‘ Opera House is simply beautiful. J The Grand Tier afforded me one of; the best seats in the house, and I* thoroughly enjoyed every minute of! the concert. I returned to the hotel! stimulated beyond words and began I the chore of packing and preparing; for my return home in the morning. |
I don’t know if or when I will! ever be able to travel as I have done! these past six weeks, but it was; wonderful. Now I look foward to my; return to Virginia to begin another; step in my return to Rappahannock; County as soon as possible. •
When I sold Meadowood, my* home in Slate Mills, I had several! projects planned. To date, I have! completed two of them: my trip toj Florida in January and my March/; April trip to Israel, Holland and En- • gland. On Wednesday I return to* school at Northern Virginia Commu- ! nity College and the following week ! will begin working part time. MyJ most important goal is to own land in J the county again, and to this end I * am now dedicated. |
