Cadet Watson
on Dean’s List
Cadet Jonathan Andrew Watson Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Pendleton Jr. of Sperryville, has been placed on the Dean’s List at the U.S. Air Force Academy for academic excellence. The academy freshman is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
To be named to the Dean’s List, cadets must have a 3.0 or greater grade point average at the end of the fall or spring semester. Cadets who receive this distinction wear a silver star on their uniform.
The mission of the Air Force Academy is to provide instruction and experience to all cadets so that they graduate with the knowledge and character essential to leadership and the motivation to become career officers in the U.S. Air Force.
Throughout its history, one theme has been constant and persistent - a “Commitment to Excellence.” It’s with that theme that the Air Force Academy looks forward to the future.
