It is not the roads that kill peo* pie, it is the drivers that kill.
At 11 a.m. on April 19, roads dry, visibility good, I was ap~ proaching the spot where two people were killed last year, at 55 miles per, hour. I saw an elderly Chevrolet, pick-up driving on the Co-op. park*ing lot, headed for the highway.
