Photography exhibition

The public is invited to attend the opening of a new show entitled“Images by Three Virginia Photographers” at Middle St. Gallery opSunday, May 8, from 4 to 7. Elsa Rosenthal will be displaying her color prints of Virginia landscapes, Cynthia Mahan will exhibit both black and white and hand-colored photos of plant forms and David Roehler’s work will include images from his travels across the country. The show runs through May. Gallery hours are from 11 to 6 Friday through Sunday.

Cloverbud camp planned

4-H Camp Cloverbud will be held Aug. 5-6 at the 4-H Center in Front Royal. This camp is designed to introduce 6, 7 and 8-year-olds who have not been to camp before to the overnight camping experir ence. The cost is $25. Registration information can be obtained by contacting the Rappahannock Extension Office at 675-3619.

Auditions to be held

Auditions for the annual RAAC Talent Show to be performed on Saturday, June 25, will be held at the Gay St. Theatre on Wednesday, May 25, at 6 p.m. Aspiring performers, in all age groups, are welcome to audition for the show. Lions benefit acution planned

The Rappahannock Lions Club auction will be held Saturday, May 14, beginning at 10 a.m., at the Washington fire hall. Proceeds will go towards new scoreboards for the new gym at the high school. For more information call 987-8395.

Honorary Fire Chief
