The lectures begin at 10:30 a.m. with “How to Grow and Use Herbs” presented by Maureen Messick, coowner/operator of the farm and president of the Virginia Herb Growers and Marketers Association. At noon, Renee Chewning of Chick Cove Herb Farm will present “Cooking with Herbs.” Her lecture will feature foods of Virginia and samples for tasting will be offered.
