French Slaughter Jr. (R, 7th-Va.) gets yet another handful of the thousands of annual polls returned to his office from his staff aide, Eric Sjurseth of Culpeper. Once the responses are tabulated, Congressman Slaughter will release the results of the survey, which was mailed to each resident of the Seventh District. The poll is used to determine the views of the Congressman’s constituents on issues such as the federal deficit, defense, trade, crime and foreign policy.
