Another danger is the unsuspecting recreationist such as the turkey hunter or the hiker who could be injured or even killed by arson fire.
“The taxpayer who foots the bill for fighting these fires also suffers from the damage they cause. We will take all appropriate action to prosecute arsonists,” he said.
