auction nears
The Rappahannock Lions Club benefit auction is nearly here, and a club spokesman reminds county residents that the club is still in need of usable items for sale. The auction will be held Saturday, May 14, at the Washington fire hall, beginning at 10 a.m.
This week, the auction received a big boost with the announcement that a 1950 Dodge six-cylinder, twodoor sedan has been offered for the auction. The antique car, which is in original condition, has been maintained, garage-kept and bears current registration and inspection stickers, “is not restored but is in good running condition,” according
