Mrs. Armentrout
Mrs. Sylvia Louise Armentrout. 78, of Elkwood, died May 2 at Fauquier Hospital. She was a native of Rappahannock County.
Mrs. Armentrout was first married to Charles Cloud. After his death she married Roy Armentrout, who also predeceased her.
Surviving are three daughters. Louise Presley, Houston, Texas, Dorothy Woodward, Elkwood. and Shirley Burke, Manassas, two sons, Dearl Cloud, Castleton. and Joe Cloud, Marshall, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves a sister Ruby Spicer, Culpeper, and five brothers, Gid Jenkins, California, Raymond Jenkins, West Virginia, John R. Jenkins, Viewtown, Elmer T. Jenkins, Amissville, and Eugene Jenkins, Frederick, Md.
She was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown, where her funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Sidney Rodriguez and Rev. Richard Woodward. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Core Funeral Home, Culpeper.
Stewart North
Stewart Grimsley North, 59, died April 29 at his home in Front Royal.
Mr. North was born Aug. 27, 1928, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Samuel Eastham and Ada Mahoney North. His wife Margaret Seal North predeceased him.
Surviving are two sons, Steven W. North of Huntly and Michael S. North of Chester Gap, three daughters, Bonnie Lee Mandley of Woodstock, Jo Ellen Barbe and Shirley Sue Elliott of Front Royal, a brother
