and Leslie Norman, niece of the groom, carried the train. Grace Bailey, cousin of the bride was flower girl and Eric Norman nephew of the groom was ringbearer.
Peter SkowTonski of Washington served as best man. Ushers were Downing and Lucky McCoy, brothers of the bride, Jonathan Bailey, brother of the groom and Bert Gilkey.
A formal reception followed the ceremony at Miss Wood’s home and a party at the Washington fire hall.
The bride is a 1983 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and a graduate of Shenandoah College of Winchester and is employed by Rappahannock County Public Schools.
The groom is a 1977 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and a graduate of the Washington, D. C. Joint Electrical Apprenticeship and is employed by Burnett & Jenson Corporation of Herndon.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and are currently living in their new home in Washington.
The groom was given a bachelor party on June 11 by Peter Skorownski, the best man, at his home.
The bride was given a bridal shower by the Washington Baptist Church on May 11 and Nina Norman and Ellen Pullen hosted one on June 4 and a bachlorette party was given by other friends on June 7.
