Rappahannock News phoUVLou Haller THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT has stepped up enforcement of the 25 mph speed limit in the Town of Washington. The increased patrols follow numerous complaints from town residents and merchants about cars speeding, particularly on Main St. and Mt. Salem Ave. Sheriff John Henry Woodward said that the majority of drivers caught in the radar traps are local residents, hot visitors.
