To the editor:
I am outraged at what I feel is a blatant injustice.
The annihilation of Rt. 630 is a loss we are grieving and trying to live with. Those changes were part of the six-year plan. So be it. But when Messrs. Moore and Bywaters met with us they acknowledged that the widening above Rt. 631 was not on the plan — was not public knowledge and they therefore stopped the chainsaws. Although 150 feet of trees were killed, the fact that the work stopped rendered hope and respect for the system we are forced to work with.
Yesterday I learned that they are preparing to bulldoze that undesignated area. The response to my call was in part “it’s just a little more.”
Could you imagine raping some one and then going back for just i little more? It’s an ugly and horrify
