Special programs and exhibits are planned for Thursday, Aug. 25, as Shenandoah National Park commemorates the 72nd anniversary of the National Park Service. To further mark the day, Park Service Director William Penn Mott has declared that entrance fee? will be waived at Shenandoah and all other National Park Service areas.
Throughout the day at various locations within Shenandoah, special programs and exhibits will be offered to help visitors learn more about the National Park Service, its history and the many areas that it protects.
