When what I believe you actually 1 want to do is to wake them up. Most 1 of the contents these days we can t
read on the Post Office bulletin j boards which, as you know, are changed so seldom they only gather dust.
There are real and controversial issues in this county which you must perceive and on which you must have an editorial or personal opinion to share with your readers. What you would like to do is to encourage and convince your readers, but they will not do it (or “become involved”), any more than students will, unless you compel them to it with your own words and choice of news articles.
I will now try to help your cause. For your next issue, God willing, I promise you a commentary on your current news item “School drug policy passed.” You will get a true history of this school drug policy business over the past decade. ;
