Horseshoe pits, that is.
A horseshoe tournament at Sperryville's music and craft festival last Sunday attracted five teams.
Among the contestants was Frank Coffey of Sperryville (right). Although Thomas Jeffries (left) has some growing to do before he starts competing, he was determined to get his practice in.
Winners of the two tournaments were Ronnie Hicks and Clay Dodson (first round) and George McKenzie and Ray Dodson (second round).
