The TOPS fall Inspiration Day will be held on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Burnt Presbyterian Church in Albin, near Winchester, off Rt. 522.
On Tuesday TOPS VA 525, Amissville discussed ways of providing nutritious meals for school-aged children, based on Giant Food’s “Eat for Health” August bulletin. The free bulletin lists recommended amounts from the basic food groups for different age groups and provides nutritious snack ideas and recipes.
Next week’s meeting will discuss “Is Your Diet'a Good One?”, baaed on an article in the Aug. 16 issue of Woman's World. The public is invited. The article stresses the importance of eating well-balanced meals.
Weekly meetings are held on Tuesday mornings at the Amissville United Methodist Church. Exercise and weigh-in is scheduled from 9:30 to 10, followed by a short meeting at 10 a.m. For more information call Cathy at 937-5024.
