Survivors include one brother, E. Lee Cornell, Culpeper; one sister, Mrs. Edith Cornell Johnson, Hart wood; and one nephew, George Lee Johnson, Hartwood.
A funeral service was held at Clore Funeral Home Chapel on Aug. 22.
The Rev. Peyton Wiltshire officiated.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Connie Lynn Hall Longerbeam, 35, of Front Royal, died August 22 in the Arlington Hospital.
Mrs. Longerbeam was bom May 22, 1953, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Kathryn Wayland Hall of Front Royal and the late Cloyd Hall. She attended Lord Fairfax
Community College and received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physical anthropology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation, she served as summer intern at the foresnic anthropology laboratory at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D. C. She was a part-time instructor of sociology at Lord Fairfax Community College and served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve.
