Mrs. Lee Bird was a Sunday caller of Mr. and Mr. A. H. Keyser at the Oaks. A couple from Texas and a couple from New York were also at the Oaks on Sunday to look at their property which is for sale.
Happy birthday to Mrs. A. H. Keyser who will have her 85th birthday on Monday, Aug. 29.
Mrs. Dot Estes of Sperryville and Mrs. Virginia Linstrom visited their sister Mrs. J. W. Campbell in Luray on Sunday. Mrs. Campbell recently returned home from Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Johnathan Deal of Hume was a Friday overnight guest of Mrs. Annie Hawkins. Chris Hawkins was a Saturday guest. Visiting Sunday were Mrs. Judy Deal, Jamie and Johnathan of Hume, Roger Hawkins of Warrenton and Mrs. Mabel Burke of Woodville.

Mrs. L. J. Turner accompanied Mrs. John Turner of Warrenton to Lewisburg, W.Va., for a weekend visit with Mrs. John Turner’s mother Mrs. Arlene Darnell and two of her aunts. While there they had lunch at the Greenbrier Restaurant.

Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell visited Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Lillard in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley along with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer of Woodbridge and Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dwyer and children Keith and Katie of Charleston, W.Va. spent Friday until Tuesday in Denver, Pa.
