State Delegate Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr. (R-31) completed his two-day Virginia fly-around Tuesday with airport press conferences in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Roanoke and Bristol.
The whirlwind tour followed Mr. Guest’s announcement Monday morning in Richmond that he is a candidate for the GOP nomination for governor next year. He asserted that he is “the positive choice” who can prevent a “bitterly divisive campaign for the nomination. . .1 can not, and I will not, run a negative campaign.”
A native and lifelong resident of Front Royal, Mr. Guest is a 17-year veteran of the Virginia House of Delegates. He has served as the House Minority Leader since January 1986.
