A classy type of gift that is

keep you on the recipient’s mind for at least a year is a calendar. Not just any calendar, mind you, but what might be called the art calendar. That is, calendars that look , good while keeping track of passing time.
There is, for example, the “1989 Americana Calendar, ” featuring the artist Charles Wysocki’s renderings of classic folk art (AMCAL).
