DOUBLE IN 12 YEARS AT 6%

During inflation (though it's lower, we’re still in it), there’s an excellent case for investing in real estate. Most of the investment is paid for with borrowed money. In other words, someone else’s dollars provides your mortgage money. Also, a mortgage loan is the only way the average consumer can borrow long-term money.

This, then, is your big chance to turn inflation to your advantage. Your mortgage gives you full-price dollars to work with today. You then pay them back with cheaper dollars you will be earning for the next 20 to 30 years. On top of that, if your home increases in value by a conservative 6% per year, it will double its value every 12 years.

This isn’t a cynical approach. It’s realistic. In fact, it’s one of the main reasons why many wealthy individuals continue to make big real estate investments. You can do the same with a home that you own and need anyway.

If there is anything we can do to help you in the field of real estate please stop in at EILEEN M. DAY, Realtor, The Clopton House, Washington, Va. 22747. Phone 675-3003. We’re here to help.
