House Agriculture Committee, the Finance Committee, the Committee for Roads and Internal Navigation and the Conservation and Natural Resources Committee. He is now the ranking minority member on the first three of those committees.
Since his appointment by his GOP colleagues to the Minority Leader’s post, Del. Guest has also been a member of the House Rules Committee and is a member of the State Crime Commission.
In those committees, Mr. Guest said, “reflecting the will of my constituents, I have fought against undesirable legislation and against undesirable trends just as hard as I have fought for desirable legislation and desirable trends.”
Since he was first elected in November 1971, Mr. Guest said, “I have promoted the interests of my rural district.”
