Beverly Atkins who raised $800. Walking for the second consecutive year was Charles Eaton, who suffered a heart attack two years ago, and who raised $300. The third highest was Frances Foster who raised more than $300.
The Turkey Walk is sponsored by Wampler-Longacre Turkey Inc., who supplies the prize turkeys and donates T-shirt monies to the Virginia affiliate of the American Heart Association.
