"OUR LIFE LINE"
What is the Life-Line of the Christian? Prayer is the Life-Line of the Christian. Just like the little baby inside their mothers womb, draws what it needs to live on, through the cord that joins it to their mother. The baby receives all it needs from the mother, and its life is sustained through this Life-Line between God and us. Through it we receive what we need to sustain our life and to make it strong and healthy.
A good example of this is Mark 11:24, where Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." Through prayer and faith we can receive what we need to live the Christian life, and to live victorious in this life. God's word is full of promises that He has given us, for this life in which we live. So through prayer and faith we can draw on these promises to make us strong in the Lord.
God's word covers every need and situation that would confront us in this world. Through this Life-Line of prayer and faith, we can receive healing for our sick bodies, we can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we can receive wisdom and direction for our lives and we can receive strength both spiritually and physically. Through the Life-Line of prayer the Christian has sweet fellowship with the Father of God. Through prayer the Holy Spirit reveals to us the word of God! The praying Christian will not be defeated because through the Life-Line of prayer he can receive what he needs to see him through to victory.
If you have never been born-again, when you get saved and become a child of God you too can have prayer as your Life-Line to keep and sustain you in this life. Come this Sunday or Wednesday night to Family {Worship Center and "Experience the Life Changing |Power of Jesus Christ!"
