Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hickerson and Jenny of Amissville were dinner guests on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson. Saturday visitors in the Hickerson home were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hickerson of Franklinville, N.C., Mrs. Evelyn Umstattd and sons Lee and Michael of Seattle, Washington, and Jean Pomeroy of Front Royal.
The Willis Chapel United Methodist Church will have their homecoming on Sunday, Sept. 17 with the former pastor, the Rev. Norman Flythe as guest speaker. A covered dish dinner will follow the service — come and bring a covered dish.
