tertioon attended their church picnic in Madison County at the Rapidan Baptist Camp.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family of Rt. 615 entertained with a picnic on Labor Day at their home having approximately ninety family members and friends in attendance. Sunday, the Peregorys dined on Chinese food at the Rebel Restaurant in Winchester in observance of their sixth wedding anniversary.
Mrs. George Johnston and Mrs. George Butler were Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler.
Mrs. Hilda Marshall of Front Royal spent several days last week with her mother and brother Mrs. Ruth Lillard and Reid.
Mrs. Clarence W. Jenkins and daughter Charlottee were recent guests of Mrs. Nina Sisk in Sperryville who has had as other guests Mr. and Mrs. Grat Buraker of Culpeper and Mrs. Alvin Atkins.
The Salem Garden Club will have their regular meeting Saturday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. and will be meeting at the Culpeper Methodist Church and other garden club members are invited.
