The groom is a 1979 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is with Vernon, Somers, and Nuckols of the Equitable Financial Companies in Richmond, Virginia.
Pre-huptial events included a kitchen shower given by Mrs. Forrest Nuckols and Mrs. Wayne Nuckols of Beaverdam. Mrs. Page Nuckols of Beaverdam was hostess to a luncheon. A bar shower was given by Mr. and Mrs. John Glazebrook of Ashland.
