ABANDONED VEHICLE REMOVAL PROGRAM
The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County are currently seeking qualified bidders to perform services related to the County’s Abandoned Vehicle Removal Program. The program seeks to remove abandoned, junked, or otherwise inoperable motor vehicles from public and private property, and to cover the costs of such removal through a Department of Motor Vehicles “bounty” system. The successful bidder will require storage facilities for impounded motor vehicles as well as the means to remove same from their various locations. Further, all vehicles proposed for DMC reimbursement must be completed salvaged for scrap in order to qualify.
