The lieutenant governor has endorced the eastern bypass around Washington, but said he awaits further study to give his final word on a western bypass.
“I support the eastern bypass without reservation,” he explained. “I support the concept of a western bypass, but I have reservations as to the environmental concerns and the source of funding.”
