we predict that as governor Mr. Coleman would be no friend to those who have worked so hard to keep our beautiful land from being exploited out of sheer greed.
In short, Mr. Coleman has failed to make the case for change. In large measure, Virginians are better off than they were eight years ago. Our state is near the top in terms of economic progress in the region, and across the country. Transportation initiatives started during the past several years have begun to address the critical problems facing our region. The General Assembly is actively attempting to give localities more options to deal with potentially devastating development.
A Wilder administration promises to continue and build on the progress of the past eight years. We think that is the right direction for Virginia — and for Rappahannock County.
