The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
But Halloween is not all ghosts and goblins. For those wishing for something unique, Washington’s Family Worship Center offers an alternative.
“Hallelujah Night is an alternative to children who want the opposite of what Halloween usually is,” churchmember Bobbie Taylor said.
Children, costumed as biblical characters, rainbows or other things not usually associated with Halloween, will walk down the runway as a reader gives a brief description of their costume and its biblical references
Besides the costume fun for children, the sweet treats and games, Mr. Taylor said the church will offer a “young person’s video on choosing home movies, and the effect horror movies have on young children.”
The 30-minute video, entitled ‘McGee and Me,’ the prizes, the refreshments and gamesT open to the public and p.m.
